Job summary

Kongi is seeking a Social Media & Video Editor to shape its voice across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms. This hands-on role combines creator thinking with editing, shooting and posting native style videos for fast-moving feeds.

You'll lead community moments, spot trends, collaborate with the founding team, and continually test formats to grow reach, engagement, and brand conversation with a US youth-focused audience.

Qualifications

• Experience making social-first content for a brand, publisher, agency, creator or own channels.
• Strong short-form video skills: shoot and edit a video on your own.
• A portfolio that shows you understand TikTok, Reels, Shorts and how stories work on each.
• Great instincts for what makes a video entertaining, shareable and part of the culture.
• A strong feel for US youth culture, shopping, style, creators and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Make social-first content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and new platforms.
• Take ideas from first thought to posted, on your own.
• Create fast-turn videos about shopping, finds, deals, style, creators and internet culture.
• Build recurring series that feel like Kongi and can grow over time.
• Turn launches and brand moments into videos that fit right into the feed.
• Try new formats, edits and platform features to keep our channels fresh.
