Qualifications

• Knowledge of prescribed curriculum and child development; ability to communicate effectively using written and oral communication skills.
• Planning and organizational skills; ability to manage the classroom and supervise students; use of current research.

Responsibilities

• Work with administrators and instructional teams to plan and implement hands‑on programs for students and the school.
• Participate as an active member with other faculty and staff; contribute to school improvement initiatives.
• Plan, implement and evaluate programs of continuing school improvement.
• Manage classroom and supervise care of equipment used.
• Engage in professional growth activities to acquire new skills and knowledge.
• Diagnose and analyze student progress to provide appropriate instruction by developmental stage.
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technology to meet student needs.
• Maintain records such as grade books, attendance, and student progress reports.
