Complex Sports is seeking a social media editor to execute the voice across Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, delivering content for Complex Sports with thoughtful community management and rapid ideation.

You will create and publish content, manage DMs, and surface viral ideas for the news team while coordinating with the branded social group. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of social media and editorial experience.
• Deep understanding of Complex Sports voice and tone.
• Willingness to work nights/holidays and tight deadlines.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the voice of Complex Sports social on Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
• Create, curate, and publish content for Complex Sports across platforms.
• Lead community management, moderation, and DM handling with the Complex tone.
• Surface and pitch viral and social-friendly content to the news team.
• Develop assets in Photoshop and Premiere/CapCut.
• Ideate and produce real-time content for Complex Sports audiences.
