Beauvais Rehab & Healthcare in Missouri seeks an experienced Social Services Director to lead resident support and coordinate care in a long‑term care setting. You will guide emotional and psychosocial services under nursing and medical staff, ensuring comprehensive resident welfare.

Work involves collaborating with nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other health professionals, maintaining detailed documentation, and conducting admissions assessments while promoting resident engagement

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in social services in long-term care, skilled nursing, mental health, healthcare, or human services.
• Strong communication, documentation, and resident support skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional, psychological, rehabilitation, and resident support services under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition, behavior, eating habits, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
• Interview residents upon admission and complete assessments and documentation.
• Participate in recreational and social activities with residents to encourage engagement and quality of life.
