Qualifications

• Six years of experience in administrative services, public health, social services, or health services.
• Six years of full-time experience in any field plus three years in administrative services, public health, social services, or health services.
• A bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience in administrative services, public health, social services, or health services.
• An advanced degree in a social science field, public health, counseling, social work, rehabilitation services, business, public, or health administration, or JD plus two years of experience in administrative services, public health, social services, or health services.

Responsibilities

• Drafts contracts and amendments in collaboration with subject matter experts from other DCFS sections.
• Assists with the coordination of contract terms and amendment processing as necessary.
• Reviews contracts and amendments for accuracy and compliance with federal and state law and established guidelines.
• Maintains organized files on contracts.
• Liaises with staff from OMF Budget Units, DCFS Legal, and Office of State Procurement, as well as with other state agencies on contract and procurement matters.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
