Job summary

The Law Offices of Jeffrey Glassman is seeking a motivated SSD/SSDI Attorney to guide a team of paralegals and attorneys while managing a Social Security caseload.

You will conduct case reviews, mentor staff, communicate with clients, and document activity in FileMaker to support high-quality service and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SSD/SSDI attorney.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission in good standing.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of assigned SSD/SSDI cases to determine tasks and next steps.
• Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to attorneys and paralegals handling Social Security matters.
• Communicate with clients to address questions and provide updates.
• Document all case activity, notes, and tasks in FileMaker.
• Report case status and updates to firm management in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of assigned SSD/SSDI cases to determine required tasks and next steps.
• Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to attorneys and paralegals handling Social Security matters.
• Communicate directly with clients to address questions, provide updates, and ensure a high standard of client service.
• Document all case activity, notes, and tasks in the firm’s case management system, FileMaker.
• Report case status and relevant updates to firm management in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SSD/SSDI attorney.
• Experience leading or managing a team required.
• Demonstrated passion for advocating on behalf of individuals seeking disability benefits.
• Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission in good standing.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
