Social Sciences Division Adjunct Instructor

Position Title: Social Sciences Division Adjunct Instructor

Employee Group: Faculty

Division/Department: Social Sciences

Status: Part-time instructor, teach days and/or evenings FA, WI, SP, or SS

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Understand and work with a diverse student population
  • Use email, internet-based resources, and common Office software
  • Teach in a variety of formats, including incorporating online learning systems
  • Understand ADA requirements and create accessible materials
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a specific discipline or closely related field with at least 18 hours of successful graduate level coursework in the specific discipline
  • Ability to teach on a Delta campus
Additional Experiences Considered
  • Teaching experience at the community college level
  • Recent experience teaching the specific discipline in an active learning environment
