Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning and expansion of social and recreational programs based on market research and community needs.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing management of existing and new programs, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, local businesses, and key stakeholders to enhance program visibility and impact.
  • Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program success and guide decisions regarding program expansion, modification, or discontinuation.
  • Develop and maintain an annual calendar of events and programs to ensure consistent community engagement and program visibility.
  • Identify new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations to support both new and existing programs, then partner with the grants team to pursue.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Recreation, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in social services, community outreach, or recreational programming.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with special needs youth and individuals.
  • Proven experience in fundraising and securing funding for nonprofit programs.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
