The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking a Social Media & Video Intern to support the World Trade Center Department's Marketing team. You will capture, edit, and produce high-quality visual content for social platforms, while practicing photography, video production, and creative storytelling.

Responsibilities include on-site shoots, editing with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and social-ready asset creation (Reels, Stories).

Qualifications

Enrollment in a college or university during the internship.
Experience or interest in photography, videography and visual storytelling.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or native social content creation tools.

Responsibilities

Capture high-quality photos and videos for social media campaigns and events.
Edit and produce platform-ready video content with relevant transitions, captions, and sound design.
Edit and enhance photos to meet brand aesthetics.
Translate raw footage into finished social-ready assets (Reels, Stories, etc.).
Monitor trends and flag opportunities for real-time content creation.
Organize media files and maintain a searchable content library.
Collaborate with the marketing team on concepts aligned with brand identity.
Review edits for quality and brand adherence before publishing.
Coordinate shoots, schedules, shot lists, and on-site logistics.
Support content rollout across social platforms and marketing materials.
Provide on-site event coverage and general marketing campaign support.
