Job summary

Pacsun is seeking a creative Social Media Moderator for a 3-month temporary assignment in our Los Angeles area team. You will moderate daily across TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat, create Instagram graphics, and stay on trend to keep our channels vibrant.

The role requires Canva proficiency, strong communication, organization, and a passion for fashion and pop culture. Evening and weekend availability is expected as part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Moderate daily on TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat across Pacsun channels.
• Create and design graphics for Instagram in-feed posts and stories.
• Stay updated on brand-relevant social trends to ideate and create.
• Contribute to creative brainstorms to develop new content concepts.
• Plan and schedule social media posts for consistent online presence.
• Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and mentions.
• Collaborate with paid ads teams to provide content for marketing across channels.
• Attend shoots, events and activations for coverage.

About the Job:

This is a 3-month Temporary Assignment

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:

• Daily moderation of all social networks especially TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat
• Able to create and design graphics for Instagram in feed posts and stories
• Stay updated on latest brand-relevant social trends to ideate and create
• Contribute to creative brainstorms to develop new content concepts
• Plan and schedule social media posts to ensure a consistent and timely online presence
• Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and mentions across platforms
• Work closely with our paid ads teams to provide necessary content to market across channels
• Attend shoots, events and activations for coverage

Hourly Range: ($25-28)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
• Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
• Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
• Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position.As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume.This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
