Job summary

Liberty University is seeking a Part-time Student Assistant for LU ONE to support the department with content creation, social media management, and event coordination. You will shoot video, edit images, write captions, and help plan content for campus events while aligning with LU's Christian mission.

The role requires 18–20 hours per week, a flexible schedule including some weekends/evenings, and experience in content creation.

Qualifications

LU Undergraduate or Graduate student
Eligible for Work-Study
Ability to work 18-20 hours per week
Flexible schedule: some weekends and evenings required
Experience in content creation (social media strategy or management, copywriting, etc.)
Ability to use Adobe Suite
Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive student information
Ideal applicant will give a minimum 1-year commitment to the position

Responsibilities

Shooting video, taking photos, editing, creating captions, and posting to social media
Research current social trends, styles, and applications
Upload, organize and maintain digital files in Dropbox
Develop a simple content plan for each assigned ISC event including ideas for photos, reels, short form videos, and other social media content
Adheres to Liberty University policies and represents the University professionally
Work effectively as a team member aligned with LU's Christian mission
