Job summary

Liberty University seeks a Creative Student Assistant-Social Media to support department functions, create social media content, and assist with campus events. The role provides practical experience while balancing academics.

Requirements include being a LU student, eligible for Work-Study, and able to work 18–20 hours weekly with some evenings and weekends. Adobe Suite skills and copywriting are preferred to craft engaging posts.

Qualifications

• LU student and eligible for work-study status.
• Experience in content creation for social media.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and copywriting.

Responsibilities

• Shoot video, take photos, edit, create captions, and post to social media.
• Research current social trends, styles, and applications.
• Upload, organize and maintain digital files in Dropbox.
• Develop a simple content plan for each ISC event including photos, reels, and short videos.
• Coordinate events and manage communications with departments and vendors.
• Assist with event promotions and on-site interactions at campus events.
• Represent the department at university events and support CSER/CFAW programs.
