Responsibilities

• Assist in managing content and analyzing engagement on Spadoni College’s social media platforms.
• Brainstorm, develop, and execute digital content for social media and storytelling.
• Create and edit photos, videos, interviews, short articles, and captions.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and alumni to highlight initiatives and events.
• Work with the marketing/communication coordinator to align with branding and messaging guidelines.
• Develop strategies to increase the college’s presence and engagement on social media.

POSITION OVERVIEW:Coastal Carolina University’s Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences is seeking a highly motivated and creative student social media assistant to support its social media initiatives.This position will play a key role in developing engaging social media content with a strong focus on storytelling, assisting in the creation of posts for Spadoni College’s social platforms, and elevating the college’s online presence and reach. The role may also include photographing events and activities to support content creation.

The student social media assistant position offers valuable, hands-on experience in promoting Spadoni College’s academic programs; centers and initiatives; and student, faculty, and alumni accomplishments to a broad local, regional, and national audience. It is an excellent opportunity for students interested in social media management, digital communications, or media production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing content and analyzing engagement on Spadoni College’s social media platforms.
