Job summary

FNW in Seattle is seeking a Sr. Manager, Social Media to lead the team across full-time, part-time staff and external agencies.

You will set direction for content and mentor staff, overseeing daily programming for Seahawks channels while advising on best practices for the organization’s digital content catalog. You will manage main accounts on Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, collaborating with video and design teams to drive a data-driven content strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Four years of full-time social media experience.
• Three years managing a team of full-time social media professionals.
• Experience managing external vendor and contractor relationships.
• Strong eye for social-friendly content with proven performance.
• Understanding of football and NFL content norms.
• Advanced knowledge of social platforms and analytics.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for basic editing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a 24/7 NFL news cycle.
• Team player with interest in sports and entertainment.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage Seahawks social media staff, ensuring messaging is relayed timely.
• Mentor staff and develop organizational culture.
• Stay informed on trends and optimize content across platforms.
• Oversee day-to-day content programming on Seahawks platforms.
• Lead curation of main Seahawks accounts on Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Snapchat, LinkedIn.
• Ensure content adheres to platform guidelines and brand policies.
• Develop content plans aligned with NFL policies.
• Generate content ideas to engage audiences for Seahawks and FNW year-round.
• Support international accounts (Seahawks Canada, Deutsch, AUNZ) and agencies.
• Support events promotions for non-Seahawks events.
• Monitor KPIs and produce leadership-facing reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to reach business goals.
