Job summary

Chip Theory Games seeks a full-time Social Media Specialist to manage all social channels for Chip Theory Games and Neon Knight Games. Create, design, and schedule posts across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and more, with a focus on engaging short-form video content.

Ideal candidates will write well, speak confidently on camera when needed, and bring design skills. The role requires in-office work four days a week with one optional work-from-home day.

Qualifications

• Strong writing ability for engaging social content.
• Ability to produce well-edited short-form video content regularly.
• Graphic design skills are a strong plus.

Job description

Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer

Start Date: Negotiable, but as soon as possible

Chip Theory Games is seeking a full-time specialist who will manage all social media platforms for both the Chip Theory Games and Neon Knight Games lines of products. In addition to those responsibilities, they will assist in other marketing initiatives as needed.

For Chip Theory and Neon Knight’s social media presence, this position will manage, create, design, and schedule multiple social media posts across all major platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc. They will work to grow our audience of followers on all platforms with compelling, engaging, entertaining and informative content with a special focus on short form video in conjunction with Chip Theory’s head of video. The Social Media Specialist will also be responsible for the creation and maintenance of paid advertising on social platforms as needed.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with the Meta platforms suite, TikTok, X, YouTube and all major social media platforms. Exceptional candidates will be fantastic and clever writers, comfortable being both behind and in front of a camera, and have the ability to create well-edited shortform video content regularly and quickly. Graphic design experience is a huge plus.

This position is required to be in-office four days a week, with one optional work-from-home day each week.
