We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media Specialist with 1–2 years of experience to manage client social media accounts, develop content strategies, and support marketing campaigns. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying on top of trends, building client relationships, and bringing fresh ideas to a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Champion is a best‑in‑class, fully integrated marketing agency powered by a team of nearly 50 professionals who are experts in their respective fields and driven by a common purpose – to be an indispensable partner to our clients. Our clients know they will never get a "one size fits all" approach from their Champion team.

What You'll Own
  • Manage day‑to‑day social media activities across multiple client accounts, including more complex campaigns and client needs.
  • Lead routine client communications, including status calls, meeting agendas, project recaps, and performance updates.
  • Develop monthly content calendars and publishing strategies that align with each client's goals and brand.
  • Use audience insights and social media performance to recommend content ideas and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with PR, influencer, creative, paid media, and account teams to support integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage community engagement and social listening to monitor conversations, brand mentions, and audience sentiment.
  • Identify trending topics, platform updates, and real‑time opportunities to increase engagement and brand visibility.
  • Present social media recommendations, campaign results, and new ideas to clients and internal teams.
  • Regularly bring forward creative ideas for leveraging current trends or developing new opportunities for client brands.
  • Track social media KPIs and turn performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor and guide interns, helping them build social media skills and prepare for future coordinator‑level responsibilities.
  • Manage multiple campaigns and deadlines while maintaining high‑quality work and consistent client communication.
What We're Looking For
  • 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and developing content calendars.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their unique audiences, content formats, and best practices.
  • Ability to review analytics and use performance insights to recommend improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence leading routine client discussions.
  • Good project management skills and the ability to balance multiple accounts, campaigns, and deadlines.
  • A creative mindset, with the ability to proactively bring new ideas and recommendations to the team.
  • Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of assigned client accounts and projects.
  • Interest in developing stronger strategic thinking and client management skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in a public relations, digital marketing, advertising, or franchise marketing agency.
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts or supporting larger marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling, analytics, reporting, and social listening tools.
  • Exposure to influencer marketing, media relations, community management, or integrated campaigns.
  • Experience mentoring interns or supporting junior team members.
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
