Job description

Our leading financial client is looking for an outstanding part time Social Media Marketing Manager to join their team on a remote basis (CST or ET preferred)! 20-30 hours estimated.

The Social Media Marketing Manager will help lead our social media presence. The right candidate will play a foundational role in developing strategy, establishing best practices, and executing high-impact content across channels. This is a hands-on, collaborative role ideal for a self-starter who thrives in both the creative and analytical sides of social media. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to shape our voice, grow our presence, and engage key audiences across platforms.

What You’ll Do

Build the Foundation

  • Develop a nimble, scalable social media strategy aligned with brand, campaign, and business priorities
  • Define audience-specific goals and success metrics across platforms
  • Create & Execute
  • Plan, write, and publish content across key platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
  • Manage day-to-day scheduling, performance tracking, and community engagement
  • Collaborate with internal creative and content teams to align social with campaigns and brand storytelling

Analyze & Optimize

  • Monitor and report on performance, providing insights and

recommendations to improve impact

  • Work with our analytics lead to conduct regular audits to refine tone, cadence, and creative direction

Collaborate & Educate

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to integrate social into broader campaigns and content initiatives
  • Contribute to the creation of social media guidelines, governance, and workflows that enable consistency and future growth

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of social media experience with proven ability to build and execute strategy in both B2B, B2C, and Partner affiliate environments
  • Exceptional writing and visual storytelling skills across channels
  • Comfortable working independently and with minimal oversight, while integrating with larger teams and campaigns
  • Proficiency with social tools such as Sprinklr, Canva, or native platform schedulers
  • Strong reporting and performance analysis skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with agility and accountability

  • Estimated time commitment: 20–30 hours per week
  • Duration: 6 months, with possibility to extend
  • Fully remote/flexible schedule

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $55 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
