Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Reston, VA invites rising juniors and seniors to join our Summer 2027 Social Media Marketing Intern program. Based at our Reston headquarters, you will craft social content, develop graphics, and support internal communications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You’ll gain exposure to government contracting, technology trends, and professional environments, delivering a mentored project and presenting findings to the executive team at program end.

Qualifications

• Rising juniors/seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
• Experience writing blog posts, press releases, or corporate writing samples
• Experience with Adobe and Canva
• Experience using LinkedIn and other social platforms
• Desire to learn new skills and follow through on tasks to completion
• Exceptional attention to detail and proactive, collaborative work style
• Must be able to commute to the Reston, VA office at least twice per week

Responsibilities

• Create social media content and campaigns for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms
• Create graphics for the website and campaigns, plus branded materials
• Support internal communications, event planning, newsletters, and external communications
• Collaborate with internal teams on projects and targeted campaigns for recruiting events
• Work with fellow interns on a technical project and present results to executives
