Job summary

North Central Missouri College in Trenton, MO seeks a part-time Marketing & Communications student employee to provide graphic design and digital media support across departments, faculty, staff and students. You will assist with editorial content, proofreading, and internal/external communications, and help manage events and campaigns.

You will contribute to NCMC's social media presence, create visuals with Canva/Adobe tools, and attend on-campus events, including some evenings or weekends.

REPORTS TO: Associate Director of Marketing and Admissions

LOCATION: Trenton, Missouri-Main Campus

Position Summary

Provide a wide range of Marketing & Communication services for all departments, faculty members, employees and students of North Central Missouri College. Recruit and represent NCMC at various events and efforts on and off campus.

Essential Functions

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Assist with graphic design, photo-video productions, and internal/external communications, news bulletins and events.

Experience

Experience in graphic design and digital media, including multiple social media platforms and content creation preferred.

Skills

Content development, including writing, editing, proofreading, publication production, social media. Proven organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.

Physical Demands

Moving about between buildings on campus; ascending and descending stairs; reaching, pulling, and pushing when filing; able to do repetitive tasks; remain stationary at a desk for extended periods of time while typing and answering phones.

Environmental Demands

Fluctuations while moving on tile and carpeted floors in a heated and air conditioned environment.
