Description
We're seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead Zappos' social media strategy implementation and execution. This role will oversee Zappos' social presence across all platforms, develop engaging content strategies, and drive measurable business results through social channels. The ideal candidate will combine creative storytelling with analytical thinking to build meaningful connections with our community while driving commercial success.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Lead development of the Zappos social media strategy, and manage execution of the strategy across all platforms.
- Develop content generation mechanisms that support the Zappos social media strategy, and generate relevant content that inspires our customers.
- Manage relationships with social platform partners (e.g. Meta, TikTok), and content partners.
- Create and oversee content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and business goals
- Drive social commerce initiatives and optimize social selling opportunities
- Analyze social media metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee social media budget and resource allocation
- Collaborate with brand, marketing, creative and customer service teams
- Pioneer innovative social media campaigns that showcase Zappos' unique brand
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience managing social content partner teams and/or agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
