Her PLAN seeks an energetic and creative Social Media Manager with a passion for driving digital strategy to inspire pro-life Americans to help moms and their children. This position will be located in Her PLAN’s Arlington, Virginia headquarters. In this role, you create content and optimize digital channels to amplify Her PLAN’s work to increase access to resources that empower women to sustain their choice for life.
The strength of the pro-life safety net is assessed through the lens of resources available in each of seven categories of care (see below). Using social media, you will mobilize Her PLAN’s digital audiences to take action in their local communities to serve pregnant and parenting women and help meet these needs through Her PLAN’s Pathways platform.

The Her PLAN Social Media Manager is responsible for content creation, day-to-day management of Her PLAN’s organic and paid social media channels, and supporting various rapid response, design, and digital communications needs for the Her PLAN team. This position develops and manages the Her PLAN photo and video asset library and is focused on growing Her PLAN’s following, engagement, and brand recognition via social media. The Her PLAN Social Media Manager will develop and implement a strategic social media and digital content plan with the oversight of the Marketing & Communications Director and in collaboration with the SBA Pro-Life America Communications Team.
This is a full-time in office position. The Her PLAN Social Media Manager reports to the Her PLAN Marketing & Communications Director.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
This position is in office at the Arlington, VA headquarters.
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.
Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing.
May be required to lift objects up to 20 lbs.
This position is a full-time remote position. Hours of the work are 8:30-5:30 with some flexibility. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
Frequent travel is required in this role. The Social Media Manager should be willing to travel to Her PLAN events as needed.
