Job summary

Real Chemistry seeks a Manager, Social Media to lead strategic social programs for healthcare clients across multiple platforms. The role blends creative content, paid and organic strategies, and collaboration with account and creative teams in a fast-paced agency environment.

The position supports hybrid work with options for remote arrangements within the US and requires 2–4 years of social media experience, a BA, and strong written/presentations skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in social media, in biotech or pharmaceutical
• College degree (BA or equivalent)
• Shown proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally
• Understanding of how paid promotion works on the main social media platforms: Facebook/Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok. Experience with social media ad technologies is a plus
• Experience working with influencers to create social contentis a plus
• Experience in social channel engagement and community management monitoring
• Highly organized, mindful of deadlines with the ability to multi-task and work under limited supervision
• Experience collaborating effectively internally and externally as part of an integrated team
• Outstanding written and oral communications and presentations skills
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
• Agency experience in a client-facing role preferred
• Understanding of the FDA regulations guiding social media efforts for biotech and pharma clients

Responsibilities

• Master all things social media: X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok you name it.
• Develop Organic and Paid Strategies: Counsel clients on best practices incorporating paid social into an overall social strategy.
• Sharpen your creative skills: Write compelling, engaging social media content and support templatized graphics creation in Canva and/or work with creative teams to develop content.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Act as day-to-day social media lead across multiple healthcare accounts within an integrated team.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment: Maintain organization and track client communications to ensure deadlines are met.
• Cultivate up-to-date knowledge of trends to guide account teams.
