Social Media Manager at Gaijin Entertainment

Gaijin develops AAA-grade online games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, including popular titles like “War Thunder” and “Enlisted”.

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Managing and growing English-language social media for gaming projects: Meta (FB/IG), Twitter/X, and optional platforms like Reddit, Discord, Threads, etc.
2. Creating engaging, stylish, meme-worthy, and/or informative content: posts, captions, polls, stories.
3. Working with visuals: creating basic graphics yourself or collaborating with a designer.
4. Adapting content to fit each platform’s format and audience.
5. Monitoring community trends, news, and promptly responding to reviews and mentions.
6. Analyzing performance metrics (engagement, growth, audience response) and adjusting strategies accordingly.
7. Collaborating with marketing teams, community managers, and producers.
8. Supporting the Russian-speaking audience if necessary.

Qualifications:

• At least 1.5 years of experience in the gaming industry in SMM, community management, content marketing, or related fields.
• Fluent English (C1+) for informal, natural communication.
• Proven experience managing social media for Meta (FB/IG) and Twitter/X, with knowledge of platform tools.
• Strong content creation skills, from memes to announcements and video ideas.
• Familiarity with graphic editors (Photoshop, Figma, Canva) for basic graphics and visual adaptation.
• Experience with video editing tools for short formats (CapCut, VN, Adobe Express, etc.).
• A good sense of humor and love for gaming culture, memes, and slang.
• Strong Russian language skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Discord, Reddit, YouTube Community, or TikTok.
• Experience working with international audiences.
• Understanding of F2P and live service models.
• Skills in video content creation or scriptwriting are a plus.
