Job summary

Parkview in Illinois seeks a full-time Social Media Manager to lead and execute our church's social media across campuses and ministries. You will plan monthly content, craft engaging posts, and partner with ministry leaders to produce photos, video, reels and captions.

The role requires 2–4+ years in social media, strong writing and editing skills, and weekend availability. Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, and Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of professional social media experience with strong platform knowledge.
• Excellent writing, video editing, and photography skills.
• Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for evenings and weekends is required.
• Preferred: church or nonprofit experience, and proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Communications Director, video team, and ministry staff on social media needs and event coverage.
• Maintain weekend responsibilities to capture, support, and publish timely event-related content.
• Recruit, manage, and shepherd a team of volunteers and freelancers.
• Maintain content libraries and scheduling platforms.

WORK SCHEDULE

40 hours per week // a mixture of weekday, evening and weekend hours; weekend presence is required
