Hover is looking for a creative, organized, and insights-driven Social Media Manager to elevate our brand presence and grow our online community. Sitting at the intersection of home improvement, tech, and visual storytelling, you’ll lead content execution across platforms, engage with our audience, and help shape the way customers experience Hover online.

You will contribute by

  • Owning and managing our social media calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more
  • Collaborating with creative, product, and marketing teams to develop and publish high-impact content
  • Engaging with our community by responding to comments, DMs, and managing groups on Facebook and Reddit
  • Supporting influencer outreach and partnerships, from sourcing to content coordination
  • Tracking performance, generate reports, and use data to improve strategy
  • Helping to develop and distribute co-marketing kits, manage customer advocate lists, and gather user-generated content
  • Staying on top of trends, report competitive insights, and recommend new channels or strategies
  • Assisting in photoshoots, video production, and PR projects as needed


Your background includes

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or a related role
  • A strong aesthetic sense and eye for visual storytelling
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with social tools (e.g. Sprout Social) and comfort analyzing performance data
  • A passion for tech, design, storytelling, and building community
  • Experience in fast-paced environments and juggling multiple projects
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights to drive content strategy.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a relevant field is preferred.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Tableau or similar analytics platforms

Hybrid roles at Hover

Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $82,000 - $94,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
