Job summary

Pemberley Farms is seeking a part-time video editor to own our short-form content from concept to final cut. Work on-site at our Cherry Hills Village farm, filming on location and editing reels for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts to grow our audience.

You'll plan shoots, keep branding consistent across Farm & Animals, Garden, Kitchen, and Gathering, and use analytics to report what resonates. Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve is required, plus comfort with

Qualifications

• Portfolio of short-form video you edited, with results if possible.
• Strong skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Comfort shooting on iPhone and/or mirrorless camera, with eye for light and composition.
• Understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, and how to use data.

Responsibilities

• Edit 4+ Instagram Reels per week (plus TikTok/YouTube Shorts) with hooks, pacing, captions, and trending audio.
• Plan and film content on location at the farm, in the garden, in the kitchen, and in the studio.
• Maintain content consistency across Farm & Animals, Garden, Kitchen, and Gathering.
• Track performance metrics and report what's working monthly.

About Pemberley Farms

Pemberley Farms is a working hobby farm and lifestyle brand just outside Denver, sharing life across four worlds: the farm and its animals, the garden, the kitchen, and gathering around the table. We film in a one-of-a-kind studio & greenhouse above our barn: antique Paris flea-market pieces, graffiti art, and a hot pink couch. Our ambitions are big: a book deal, national press, and a Pemberley product line. We're looking for a creative partner to help get us there.

The Role

You'll own our short-form video from start to finish. You'll film on the farm, edit reels that stop the scroll, and use the analytics to figure out what's working and grow our audience on purpose. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the craft of editing and understands how the algorithm actually works.

What You'll Do

• Edit 4+ Instagram Reels per week (plus TikTok/YouTube Shorts cuts) with strong hooks, pacing, captions, and trending audio
• Help plan and film content on location at the farm, in the garden, in the kitchen, and in our studio
• Keep content consistent across our four pillars: Farm & Animals, Garden, Kitchen, and Gathering
• Track performance (reach, watch time, saves, shares, follower growth) and report what's working each month
• Spot trends early and adapt them to the Pemberley aesthetic, without chasing every fad
• Find and coordinate Collab Reels with aligned creators to reach new audiences
• Write captions and help drive followers toward our email list

What We're Looking For

• A portfolio of short-form video you edited, ideally with results you can point to (growth, viral posts, engagement)
• Strong skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Comfort shooting on iPhone and/or mirrorless camera, with an eye for natural light and composition
• A real understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, and how to use the data, not just post
• Self-motivated, reliable, and great at hitting deadlines
• Someone who enjoys being on a farm (animals, dirt, and all)

Bonus Points

• Experience with lifestyle, home, garden, food, or farm content
• Experience growing an account from the ground up
• Photography or graphic design skills
• Familiarity with email marketing or brand partnerships

• Schedule: Flexible, ideally starting with 2 days a week on site
• Location: Cherry Hills Village, CO; on-site filming required
• Pay: $30-$35/hr
