An educational institution in Bloomington seeks a Social Media Coordinator to enhance its brand and connect the community across various platforms. The position involves managing social media, crafting engaging content, and strategizing for digital marketing. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in English, Communications, or Marketing and at least one year of relevant experience. The role offers a salary of $46,000 to $50,000 along with generous benefits.
This role holds the primary responsibility for authentically promoting Illinois Wesleyan'sbrand and connecting the Titan community on all flagship social media platforms, witha particular focus on writing and creating content compelling to prospective students.Advises and collaborates with other departments to ensure a consistent social mediastrategy representing IWU. Manages the University's in-house digital marketing effortson strategic social media platforms. Monitors social media conversations as part ofthe University's crisis communications efforts. Maintains various additional digitalplatforms representing the University, supporting strategic communications and marketinggoals. This is a full time, 12 month, on-campus position .
