Job summary

Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York, NY is seeking a Manager, Social Media to craft authentic, on-brand content for its social channels and ensure alignment with marketing goals. You will lead content creation, coordinate assets with artists, and amplify the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra's brand voice across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.

You will monitor engagement, track performance, and craft innovative social media strategies while supporting live events and education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field; 5+ years in social media or content creation.
• Proven experience in social media content creation and management with a strong portfolio.
• Experience managing digital production and content creation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital analytics and media tracking tools.
• Knowledge of jazz or arts sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, on-brand social content across platforms.
• Develop and execute content strategies for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
• Coordinate live-event coverage and real-time storytelling.
• Collaborate with Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra members and guests.
• Monitor engagement and report insights to optimize future content strategies.
• Travel with the orchestra 10–15% of the year to capture tour content.
