Tatcha in San Francisco is seeking an Assistant Manager, Social Media to own community engagement and publishing across organic channels. The role partners with teams across Influencer, Brand Marketing, Product Development, and E-Commerce to translate social insights into actionable campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in social media, community management, influencer or brand marketing, preferably in beauty, skincare, or luxury.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms with an eye for engagement and trendspotting.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Customer Care, Influencer, Brand Marketing, Product Development, and E-Commerce teams.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to adapt brand voice across touchpoints.
• Strong analytical instincts and comfort with performance data to identify patterns and draw insights.
• Experience using social media management or social listening platforms (e.g., Dash Social, Meltwater).
• Highly organized with excellent project management, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to navigate real-time brand interactions with empathy and sound judgment.
• Passion for skincare, beauty, and brand storytelling with a customer-first mindset.
• B.A. in Communications, Marketing, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day community management and publishing across organic channels.
• Develop meaningful relationships with our audience and translate performance data into actionable ideas.
• Collaborate with Team Love, Influencer, Global Brand, Product Development, E-Commerce, and Commercial teams.
• Translate audience behavior and social performance into clear insights and recommendations.
• Develop social-first content and copy for Instagram, TikTok, Broadcast Channel, and emerging platforms.
• Balance creativity with analytical thinking and move quickly with attention to detail.
• Own social copywriting across channels and adapt tone per platform.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and support cross-functional priorities.
