From assessments and health services to employability programmes and specialist support, we do work that matters with people who care.

This role acts as the team lead for organic social media planning, creation, and evaluation, while also overseeing governance, evaluation, and community management processes. Maximus has seen a rise in the number of accounts we operate, up to more than 20, and a single role is required. The successful candidate will lead monthly social media planning meetings with support from the PR Manager, working with team members and the wider business to advise on social media strategy and tactics, developing organic campaigns where required.

Salary

£32,000 to £37,000 (Non-London)

£37,000 to £42,000 (London)

Home Based with occasional travel to team meetings, with the possibility for other meetings with the business.

This role would suit someone who has worked in a corporate environment and has experience creating innovative content for multiple audiences. Experience in producing thought leadership content, ideally within the public services sector, would be highly beneficial.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Leading social media content planning and evaluation within established processes, including monthly planning meetings and overview slides, using audience segmentation and evaluation of prior content to improve quality.
  • Collaborating with Communications and Marketing team members to strengthen social media output, produce, evaluate, and improve organic content aligned with brand positioning, growth, and thought leadership priorities. Developing engaging campaigns and content, following social media trends and algorithm changes.
  • Ensuring internal governance processes are followed to maintain quality and avoid reputational risks, understanding and adhering to these processes, and escalating breaches when necessary.
  • Developing and leading community management across Maximus social media accounts, responding to comments and complaints appropriately.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and developing organic campaigns.
  • Understanding different social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) and effective audience engagement.
  • Evaluating social media campaigns across channels.
  • Experience in a corporate or large organization is preferred.
