Job summary

Resplendent is seeking a Social Media Intern in Austin, Texas for October 2026 with extension into Spring. This paid, part-time internship (~20 hours/week) offers behind-the-scenes agency life and social media strategy for hospitality and lifestyle brands.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is curious, and brings initiative and follow-through to content creation, backend organization, and client collaboration. Residency in Austin is required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Experience using Canva and short-form video-editing platforms.
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and balance multiple assignments.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to work.
• A portfolio or examples of social media content.

Responsibilities

• Attend content shoots and support creative direction.
• Schedule content and/or publish in Sprout Social.
• Help with Resplendent and client content creation.
• Stay up to date on TikTok and Instagram trends.
• Design Instagram stories in Canva; edit video content (VEED or similar).
• Research and manage influencer lists for select clients.
• Support the agency’s social media presence.
