Job summary

Turning Stone Enterprises is seeking a Social Media Intern to help bring our brand to life across digital platforms. You will work with the Community Manager to brainstorm, create, and share engaging content that showcases our culture, events, and daily moments.

This role is ideal for someone who loves being behind or in front of the camera, thrives on creativity, and wants real-world experience in marketing and digital media. Local student status and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing, communications, or design-related program.
• Strong interest in social media, branding, and storytelling.
• Aesthetic eye for photography, videography, and visual content.
• Comfortable with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Strong written communication and creative thinking.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Capture and create original content for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and more.
• Plan, write, and schedule posts that reflect our brand voice and visual identity.
• Film behind-the-scenes content at events, on-site, and in the workplace.
• Assist with editing content using Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Collaborate on campaign ideas, trends, captions, and social strategy.
• Organize digital assets and track content performance metrics.

Pay Rate: $17.00 hourly

As the Social Media Intern, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life across digital platforms. Working closely with our Community Manager, you’ll help brainstorm, create, and share engaging content that showcases our culture, events, and day-to-day moments. From capturing behind-the-scenes footage to editing videos and crafting creative captions, you'll be part of telling our story in a fresh and authentic way. This role is ideal for someone who loves being behind the camera (or in front of it!), thrives on creativity, and is eager to turn their passion for social media into real-world experience.

Responsibilities

Educational Focus

This internship offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, and visual storytelling. Interns will develop practical skills in content creation, brand voice development, audience engagement, and basic photography and video editing. Through real-world projects, they’ll learn how to plan and schedule content, use creative tools like Canva or Adobe Suite, and analyze content performance. By the end of the internship, participants will have a strong portfolio, a deeper understanding of brand marketing, and valuable experience to support future careers in marketing, communications, or digital media.
