Fairmount Staffing seeks a social media specialist to generate real inquiries for US/Canada small business clients. You will create content designed to drive DMs, calls, and inquiries and edit short-form video for property walkthroughs, tips, and testimonials.

You will design graphics, build repeatable content systems, and report results in clear terms to clients in a professional, English-speaking environment.

Formación

• 2–4 years of social media management for a business, brand, or agency; local/small-business experience preferred.
• Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar).
• Proficient with Canva and/or Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Understand what content generates leads, not just engagement; English proficiency required.

About the Role:

Fairmount Staffing is hiring for our US/Canada small business clients (real estate agencies and local service businesses). This isn't a "just post content" role; we need someone who understands that social media exists to generate real inquiries and leads, not just followers.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and create content designed to generate DMs, calls, and inquiries, not just engagement
• Edit short-form video (Reels/Shorts) as the primary content format: property walkthroughs, tips, behind-the-scenes, testimonials
• Design supporting graphics for posts, stories, and campaigns
• Build simple, repeatable content systems the client can trust week after week
• Report results in plain terms the client understands ("this post drove X inquiries"), not just vanity metrics
• Work directly with US-based small business owners, understanding their goals and translating them into content

Requirements:

• 2-4 years managing social media/content for a business, brand, or agency; local/small-business client experience strongly preferred (real estate, home services, salons, restaurants, etc.)
• Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar); this is the core skill for this role
• Working knowledge of Canva and/or Photoshop/Illustrator
• Understanding of what makes content generate leads, not just likes
• Excellent English; you'll speak directly with clients
• Portfolio showing real results: reels, page growth, or inquiry/engagement wins
