Job summary

Joni and Friends in Agoura Hills is seeking a Digital Marketing/Social Media Coordinator for a temporary, full-time hybrid position. You will coordinate content engagement across platforms, produce graphics, videos, and copy, and respond to outreach and paid ad interactions.

• 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing, social media, or communications role
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Good interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide range of daily tasks with varied deadlines
• Understanding of social media best practices using data to inform decisions; ability to write compelling and empathetic copy across digital channels

• Commitment to accuracy with a strong sense of confidentialty
• Working competencies in MS 0365, Asana, or similar project management tools, social media platforms, and video creation tools
• Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable

Physical Requirements:

This position primarily involves sedentary work in an office setting. The employee must be able to sit for extended periods, operate a computer and other standard office equipment, communicate clearly in person and over the phone, and occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach to accessfiles and supplies. The role may also require occasionally lifting or carrying items up to 20 pounds.

Work is performed in a professional office setting with occasional movement throughout the facility. The environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level, with standard lighting and temperature conditions. Employees are expected to maintain safety and ergonomic awareness while performing all tasks.

This temporary position will go through approximately the end of November, and it is a full-time role. This is a hybrid position, working in our Agoura Hills office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; and working remotely on Wednesday and Friday. Compensation for this position will be between $23.50 - $24.50 per hour.
