Men in Blazers is the No. 1 Soccer Media Network in the U.S. With a wide reach and a diverse, vocal fan base, we engage with teams, players, celebrity fans, and brands we love to share our passion for soccer across the nation. Using humor, emotion, intelligence, and to-the-minute pop cultural aptitude, we provide fans with unique content that breaks down the biggest stories in the game in ways that are authentic, meaningful, and compulsively entertaining.

We are looking for an amazing human being to drive our social media efforts, which includes promoting our various owned and operated channels as well as working with our brand partners to maximize reach engagement.

Social Media Coordinator - VAMOS

Location: United States, Remote

• Execute VAMOS social media strategy
• Play a part in the development and maintenance social media calendar, across both real-time (match days, tournaments, live events, etc), and pre-programmed content (episodic releases, partner commitments)
• Create content for VAMOS social channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok). Write emotionally intelligent, culturally relevant copy that channels the voice and tone of the brand and create visual content – photo and video – that resonates with the Men in Blazers & VAMOS community.
• Adapt real-time soccer news stories in a manner that is relevant and engaging across VAMOS social channels
• Ideate with stakeholders to add value to commercial partnerships through social channels
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to manage content development and timelines
• Daily monitoring, management, and maintenance of VAMOS channels and community.
• Use performance metrics to determine future opportunities for content optimization
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of social media experience with an eye for design and experience creating original content, and adapting existing content (TV Shows, Podcasts, etc.) for social media
• Knowledge of soccer, soccer culture and a love of the game, specifically the soccer within the region
• Fluent in Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Experience in pre-production, production and post-production workflows in various delivery formats.
• Ability to design and create social graphics and produce short-form videos
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Premiere and Photoshop or similar video/photo editing software.
• Knowledge of social media trends and high-level cultural moments spanning sports and entertainment
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, (this position will require working weekends to track football matches)
