Job description

Are you interested in joining one of the fastest growing brands in BBQ? If so, Meat Mitch is seeking a motivated, creative, brand-building, full-time social media coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a social media marketing wizard, possess a flair for content development, and have a deep understanding of social media platforms. As a social media coordinator, you will develop and implement our social media strategy, create engaging content, and analyze data to ensure our social presence aligns with business goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business goals.
  • Create engaging content, including images, videos, and text, to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to audience feedback and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Create and manage a social media calendar.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Assist in developing and managing social media influencer marketing strategies.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content (trade shows, BBQ events, etc.).

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and their audiences.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or similar tools is a plus.
  • Must reside in the Kansas City metro area.
