Overview
We're looking for a data-driven social media manager to own our organic social presence across all platforms. You'll manage 1M+ followers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube Shorts—with a goal of driving 2% monthly growth while maintaining authentic engagement with our blue-collar community. This isn’t a basic posting position. You'll dive deep into analytics, identify what's working (and what's not), create content strategies, and eventually build influencer partnerships that amplify our mission.
Responsibilities
- Daily Content Management
- Post 2 high-quality feed posts per day across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat + YouTube Shorts
- Create and schedule 15+ stories daily across all platforms
- Edit raw footage from our media team into engaging social content
- Pull content from the shared drive and maintain an organized posting schedule
- Analytics & Strategy
- Analyze performance metrics and explain trends—show us the data
- Identify why posts underperform and recommend adjustments
- Stay on top of platform trends and algorithm changes
- Provide weekly performance reports with actionable insights
- Community & Growth
- Engage with followers and build authentic community connections
- Respond to comments and DMs in brand voice
- Grow follower base by 2% monthly through strategic content
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities
- Exploration & Innovation
- Test new platforms and features (YouTube Shorts, emerging channels)
- Propose new initiatives (Discord communities, Facebook groups, etc.)
- Eventually manage influencer outreach and collaboration partnerships
- Find creative ways to amplify our brand message
Qualifications
- Must-Haves
- 3+ years managing social media for accounts with 500K+ followers
- Intermediate video editing skills (not just basic cuts—you can create engaging content)
- Analytics expertise: Can pull data, identify trends, and explain performance
- Proven track record of growing engaged communities
- Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal oversight
- Weekend availability required (this role includes Sunday posting)
- Strong understanding of Meta, TikTok, and YouTube platforms
- Excellent written communication in casual, authentic brand voice

- Experience with blue-collar, trades, or lifestyle brands
- Familiarity with Shopify e-commerce integration
- Influencer partnership experience
- Knowledge of sweepstakes/giveaway marketing
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, Photoshop)
Compensation
$45,000 - $65,000 yearly
