Job description

Immaculata - La Salle High School, a private Catholic school in Miami, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and/or experienced full-time Social Media Coordinator. This person is responsible for creating and managing digital content that showcases the mission, values, and daily life of Immaculata-La Salle Catholic High School. This role plays a key part in telling the school’s story online: highlighting student achievements, faith formation, academics, athletics, service, and the spirit of the Royal community. They will also be working closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Advancement teams. Lastly, they will ensure all content reflects the school’s brand and supports enrollment, engagement, and community-building efforts. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field required.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing social media accounts for an organization, brand, or institution.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills, with the ability to capture high-quality photos and videos using a smartphone and/or camera equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, with an understanding of platform-specific best practices, trends, and audience behavior.
  • Proficiency in content creation and editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms).
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft engaging, mission-aligned captions and narratives tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a content calendar, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, including availability to attend school events (some evenings and weekends required).
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret performance data to inform strategy.
  • Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and leadership.
  • A creative mindset with a proactive approach to identifying content opportunities and trends.
  • Understanding of and respect for the mission and values of Catholic education; ability to represent the school’s faith-based identity authentically and positively.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
