Job summary

Three Notch’d Brewing Company in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to elevate our local and multi-location presence. You will own the content calendar, capture and edit photo/video on-site, write captions, and help execute social strategy while coordinating with local creators, brand partners and the Marketing Director.

Expect ~15 hours per week and a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Instagram and Facebook including posts and community management.
• Strong photography and videography skills for on-site content.
• Ability to write engaging captions and copy for social channels.
• Capable of editing photos/videos and creating simple graphics.
• Excellent organization to manage multiple content calendars.
• Able to coordinate with creators, partners, and other accounts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain content calendars across all social platforms with on-brand posting cadence.
• Capture, edit, and publish photo and video content on-site at breweries and restaurants.
• Write engaging, platform-tailored captions and copy.
• Support execution of social media strategy as directed by the Marketing Director.
• Monitor channels daily and respond to comments, messages, and inbox inquiries in a timely, on-brand manner.
• Coordinate with local content creators and departments for source content and stay current on what’s accurate, important, and upcoming at each location.
• Coordinate with brand partners and community accounts on cross-promotion and tagging.
• Stay current on platform trends and best practices, adapting content as platforms evolve.
• Use AI tools to work efficiently across content creation and social tasks.
• Perform other duties as directed

Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

Compensation Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Expected Weekly Hours: 15

Direct Report: Director of Digital Marketing and Guest Growth

Job Summary: The Social Media Coordinator will support the Three Notch’d Brewing Company marketing team in bringing the company’s social presence to life across locations. This role owns the content calendar, captures and creates content, writes captions, and helps execute day-to-day social strategy, while coordinating with local creators, brand partners, and community accounts to keep Three Notch’d’s social channels active, engaging, and on-brand.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain content calendars across all social platforms, ensuring consistent, on-brand posting cadence
• Capture, edit, and publish photo and video content on-site at breweries and restaurants
• Write engaging, platform-tailored captions and copy
• Support execution of social media strategy as directed by the Marketing Director
• Monitor social channels daily and respond to comments, messages, and inbox inquiries in a timely, on-brand manner
• Coordinate with local content creators and other departments to source content and stay current on what’s accurate, important, and upcoming at each location

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Instagram and Facebook, including posting, Stories, and community management
• Strong photography and videography skills for content capture and editing
• Ability to write clear, engaging, platform-appropriate captions and copy
• Ability to edit photos and video and create simple graphics
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple content calendars and deadlines
• Comfortable communicating and coordinating with creators, partners, and other accounts outside the immediate team
• Ability to adapt quickly as social platforms and trends evolve

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with TikTok and YouTube Shorts content creation
• Familiarity with Sprout Social or similar social media scheduling/management tools
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, G Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation or workflow efficiency
• Basic reporting and analytics skills

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk, to move around brewery and restaurant locations to capture content. The position also requires the ability to lift equipment and stand or move as necessary to get the right shot or angle.
