Collier.Simon is an independent, full-service creative agency in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. We work with our client partners to develop creative solutions that truly move the needle. Clients range from Fortune 500-type household names to up-and-comers across a variety of industries / verticals. We’re in the midst of a tech-powered transformation, using AI to supercharge creativity—not replace it— and we’re looking for curious minds excited to explore AI as a tool to scale, spark, and speed up creativity.
We’re looking for a Social Media Content Strategist who is equal parts planner and creative thinker—someone who knows how to build a killer content calendar, shape ideas that resonate in-feed, and scale storytelling across locations and moments. You don’t need to be a designer, but you do need an eye for great creative, a pulse on what’s trending, and the curiosity to leverage AI tools that push ideas forward and make execution more efficient.
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in a social media, digital strategy, or content marketing role (agency or brand-side)
- Proven ability to build and manage content calendars, working across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, and emerging channels
- Experience supporting multi-location or store-level content efforts—understanding how to localize campaigns while protecting brand voice
- Strong writing, editing, and concepting chops for social-first storytelling (even if you’re not a copywriter by trade)
- Excellent creative instincts—you know what’s scroll-stopping, and you can brief others to get there
- Proactive, self-directed mindset with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Interest or experience in using AI tools (like ChatGPT, Canva Magic, Midjourney, or Notion AI) to support ideation, planning, or content creation
- Comfortable working remote on Pacific Time hours
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage social content calendars across multiple brand initiatives
- Translate briefs, campaigns, and marketing moments into channel-native content plans
- Lead or support the creation of post briefs—clearly guiding art and copy teams on direction
- Monitor content performance and contribute to recaps, insights, and optimizations
- Collaborate with creative teams, account leads, and paid social/media partners to ensure content is aligned across touchpoints
- Use AI tools to streamline tasks like copy exploration, visual inspiration, or calendar ideation—without sacrificing creative originality
- Stay plugged into platform updates, creator trends, emerging formats, and new tools that could enhance our work
- Bring energy and POV to brainstorms, client meetings, and weekly content reviews
Bonus Points If You...
- Have worked on retail, franchise, or multi-location brands, BIG points if you've worked in the auto industry
- Have experience building content playbooks, post libraries, or visual guides
- Understand how to work within a paid/organic social strategy
