Responsibilities

1. Manage our editorial calendar to ensure timely publication
2. Assign blog posts to writers
3. Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics
4. Create style guides to use as reference
5. Proofread and edit written pieces before publication
6. Schedule social media posts
7. Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs
8. Monitor web traffic and engagement (e.g., conversions and bounce rates)
9. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
10. Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics
11. Review and update published content as needed

Qualifications

1. Proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Manager, or similar role
2. A portfolio of published articles
3. Experience in project management is a plus
4. Knowledge of Content Management Systems, like WordPress
5. Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing
6. Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools (e.g., Moz and Google Keyword Planner)
7. Experience using social media for business
8. Solid writing and editing skills in English
9. Time-management skills
10. Ability to guide and motivate team members

Job Highlights

1. 100% Remote
2. 12 Month Contract from the start date
3. Must be comfortable filming yourself and appearing on camera when needed
4. Experience editing, producing, and publishing social-first video content, tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or native in-app tools
5. Proficient in graphic design with a strong understanding of Figma
6. Excellent writing skills and an understanding of how copy + visuals work together on social media
7. Experience creating content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, and other relevant social channels
8. Avid user of social media sites like TikTok, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn with a solid understanding of current features, formats, and algorithm changes
9. Familiarity with AirTable is a bonus

Compensation

• $27.5 - $32.25 /hour Pay Rate
