Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate is seeking a Social Media & Content Coordinator for Brandon & Tampa. This hands-on, on-camera role focuses on creating daily social content to bring our fashion drops to life online. You’ll highlight new inventory and upcoming promotions while filming engaging videos that entice customers to visit stores.

Ideal candidates are social media enthusiasts with a fashion sense, comfortable on camera, and able to produce short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Experience creating daily social media content for fashion brands.
• Comfortable speaking on camera and appearing in content.
• Knowledge of trends on Instagram, TikTok, Reels and Stories.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Uptown Cheapskate in Brandon & Tampa is looking for a creative, outgoing, and fashion-forward Social Media & Content Coordinator to bring our stores, products, and drops to life online!

This is a hands-on, on-camera position for someone who loves social media, fashion, and creating content that gets people excited to shop. You’ll be responsible for creating and posting content daily, highlighting new inventory, teasing upcoming drops, and showing our customers what they can find in-store.

If you’re comfortable talking to a camera, getting excited about a great find, and turning clothing into content people actually want to shop for, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You'll Do:

• Create and post engaging social media content daily across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
• Be the face of our social media by appearing on camera regularly
• Create fun and engaging sneak peeks of upcoming drops, new arrivals, promotions, and special events to create excitement
• Walk through the store and showcase products that customers will want to shop
• Talk on camera about specific items, trends, brands, prices, and why customers should check them out
• Create Reels, TikToks, Stories, photos, and other short-form content
• Capture content throughout the store and stay aware of what products are trending or worth featuring
• Help develop creative ideas for content, promotions, and campaigns
• Keep our social media presence consistent, current, and engaging
• Monitor social media trends and find ways to incorporate relevant trends into our content
• Work closely with management to understand upcoming promotions, product drops, and marketing priorities
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and image across all social media platforms

• Passionate about fashion, trends, and social media
• Creative and constantly coming up with new content ideas
• Comfortable filming themselves and speaking naturally on video
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and short-form video
• Reliable and able to consistently create content on a daily basis
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines
• Someone who can make a product feel exciting and make people want to come into the store and shop

• You're uncomfortable speaking about products or presenting to an audience
• You only want to create behind-the-scenes content without appearing in it
• You aren't comfortable posting consistently
• You don't actively use or understand platforms like TikTok and Instagram
