Job summary

BarFly in Grand Rapids seeks a Social Media & Community Coordinator to actively manage content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok while engaging guests online. You will support the Marketing Director with daily social tasks, events and brand storytelling, ensuring consistent voice and timely responses.

You will capture photos and short videos at restaurants and events, draft captions, organize the content calendar and help measure engagement trends.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, hospitality or related field.
• Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and channel-specific content.
• Strong writing and brand-voice adaptation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating, scheduling and publishing content across social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
• Capture photo and short-form video content at locations and events.
• Draft captions reflecting HopCat and Stella’s Lounge voice and personality.
• Maintain content calendar and organize assets.
• Support campaigns and influencer partnerships as assigned.
• Assist with basic social performance tracking and reporting.
