The Luminary Agency is seeking a Social Media Associate to support in the ideation, production, distribution, and optimization of social content across various social channels mainly for our affiliated music label, as well as for our wellness, mindfulness, and spiritual development clients.

The Summer 2025 Associate Program will provide direct access and hands-on experience for the development, execution, distribution, and tracking of Marketing Projects. This will enable participants to acquire essential skills, build a portfolio of work samples, achieve project successes, and cultivate valuable contacts and relationships.

As an associate, you will have a direct line of communication with agency founders, freelancers, staff, and clients of The Luminary Agency. Training through project access, guided direction, and feedback will allow for real-world experiences.

Projects will include:

Project Management of detailed content calendars for emerging brands and music artists

Work with Graphic Designer, Copywriter, and Client Manager to develop engaging and creative social media content for various Agency and client platforms

Ensure all content aligns with client brand guidelines and agency's and client’s objectives

Manage the day-to-day posting and scheduling of social media updates

Use social media management tools to optimize posting times, frequency, trends, and reacha larger audience

Track and analyze key social media metrics and generate regular reports on social media performance for clients and agency leadership

We’re looking for a:

Bold, hands-on player with confidence to run with projects

Mindful listener able to effectively act on direction and feedback

Interest or experience in copywriting and editing is a plus

Organized and responsible individual comfortable with accountability

Previous experience in music press, social media, or music writing encouraged

Based in New York City preferred
