Job summary

Urban Chic Media seeks a creative social media specialist to manage client Instagram accounts and grow with the team. You will lead content ideation, craft captions in each brand’s voice, and collaborate on visuals, with on-site presence in the DC/MD/VA area and a 70% remote work setup.

You’ll handle content sessions, weekly client calls, and contribute to a vibrant, supportive team culture while delivering engaging content across brands.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social content for multiple brands or creators.
• Strong writing and visual storytelling skills.
• Based in the DC/MD/VA area and on-site regularly.
• Availability and hours 9am-5pm EST.

Responsibilities

• Strategize content briefs aligned with client goals.
• Write captions in each client’s voice.
• Manage daily engagement: comments, reposts, tags.
• Coordinate content inspiration and brand aesthetics.
• Film/reels creation and editing.
• Attend client shoots and capture BTS content.
• Report monthly analytics for each client.
• Create elevated IG graphics using Canva.
• Maintain proactive client communication and meetings.
