Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Social Media and Public Relations Coordinator to develop and share compelling content that heightens community awareness of our services and value propositions.

You will craft and publish daily social posts, produce video-ready assets, and support digital campaigns across channels. You’ll collaborate with leadership and medical staff to identify story angles, monitor performance with analytics, and maintain the website and newsletters.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of public relations and/or marketing experience; healthcare or non-profit experience preferred.
  • Portfolio of content examples required; excellent writer with ability to create content and short-form video.
  • Strong understanding of social media channels and distribution; capable communicator with leadership, medical staff, and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and share content to increase community awareness of Jupiter Medical Center’s services and value propositions.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily social media content across text, images, videos, or HTML.
  • Implement best practices on platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Monitor and evaluate social media presence using analytical tools; create video, graphics, and photos to enhance brand.
  • Develop editorial calendar for multi-channel communications; draft copy, coordinate assets, schedule posts, publish content.
  • Support communications plan; maintain website content and email campaigns aligned with digital strategy.
  • Collaborate with leadership on talking points, content, and presentations; create messaging for service lines.
  • Contribute to quarterly newsletter; assist with community events; oversee outsourced PR projects as needed.
  • Supervise media interviews, video, and photo shoots; prioritize projects and ensure timely completion.

Position Summary

Position Summary The Social Media and Public Relations Coordinator is an experienced, creative individual who will develop and share content that increases the community’s awareness of Jupiter Medical Center’s services and value propositions. Generate, edit, publish, and share daily social media content inclusive of text, images, videos, or HTML to enhance awareness of JMC brand and increase consumer engagement. Implement best practice standards on social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Use analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance. Create video, graphics, and capture photos to enhance the brand as needed. Develop editorial calendar for multi-channel communications plan, including drafting copy, coordinating assets, scheduling posts, and publishing on channels. Support communications plan through content development. Help manage and maintain the company website content. Assist in creation and delivery of email campaigns that are consistent with our digital strategy. Collaborate with the leadership team on talking points, social content, executive communication, and presentations. Create messaging, presentations, and other deliverables to support service line strategy. Contributes to content for the quarterly newsletter. Support the execution of community events internally and externally. Inform leadership of JMC’s digital metrics and industry best practices. Assist with oversight of outsourced public relations projects. Supervise media interviews, video, and photo shoots. Prioritize projects based on feedback from manager and VP. Assure timely completion of all assignments. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Requires sitting for long periods of time, also stooping, bending, standing, and stretching. May require lifting up to 20 lbs. Must have manual dexterity for typing and computer data entry. Able to work under a stressful environment, work independently, capable of making sound decisions, be detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs., carry and lift up to 20lbs.
