Job description

We’re seeking a highly organized and experienced Paid Social Media Advertising Specialist with 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns. This role focuses primarily on paid social advertising across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter), with some additional support for a small number of clients’ organic social media needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of analytics, tracking, and conversion-focused campaigns, and will be comfortable reporting on performance and delivering insights that drive results. Experience in an agency environment is strongly preferred.

We are seeking someone Based in the New England region and available to work remotely, with virtual team collaboration during Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and manage paid social media advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn predominantly (limited campaigns on X)
  • Develop targeting strategies, creative direction, and ad copy recommendations tailored to client goals.
  • Execute and optimize conversion-based campaigns, focusing on actions like leads, signups, purchases, or other key objectives.
  • Set up and integrate tracking tools (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.) to monitor performance and attribute results accurately.
  • Analyze campaign data and deliver clear, actionable performance reports and insights.
  • Coordinate with other marketing specialists, project managers and creative teams to ensure campaigns run smoothly and on-brand.
  • Support organic social media efforts as needed, including content calendar creation, copywriting, design direction, scheduling and engagement monitoring.
  • Stay current on industry trends, algorithm updates, and platform best practices.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks across several client accounts simultaneously.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in paid social media advertising (agency experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven expertise with Facebook Ads Manager & LinkedIn Campaign Manager (Twitter/X Ads to a lesser degree)
  • Strong understanding of conversion-based campaign strategies and performance measurement.
  • Experience with platform-specific tracking tools (e.g., Meta Pixel, UTM parameters, LinkedIn Insight Tag).
  • Solid grasp of audience targeting, A/B testing, retargeting, and campaign optimization.
  • Working knowledge of organic social media strategies and tools (e.g., scheduling platforms like Sprout Social).
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to multitask across multiple client accounts.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
