Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services is seeking a Social and Health Program Consultant 4 for the WA Cares Fund to support and train staff, and provide consultation, interpretation, training, and technology assistance to supervisors and staff.

You will liaise across local, regional, and HQ teams, ensure compliance with department policies, and collaborate with community providers to improve access to services. Travel across Region 3 is expected; hybrid work is available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide regular training and consultation to staff at all levels to ensure compliance with program requirements and policies.
• Create and update procedures for the Benefits and Customer Care team, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding.
• Provide training and technical support to staff on tools such as BAMS, CRM, the Assessment tool, Provider One, and Knowledge and Policy manuals.
• Work with leadership and tech liaisons to simplify technical information for staff.
• Develop and maintain WA Cares Fund procedures and training materials, updating as needed.
• Update training plans for new staff and monitor their progress through group and one-on-one sessions.
