An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Social/Family Service Worker Trainee to join their team. This full-time role focuses on assisting consumers with barriers to employment and housing. You will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and connect individuals with vital services. The County of Cape May has a vacancy for a full-time (35 hours per week) Social/Family Service Worker Trainee at the Division of Social Services. The current vacancy is in the Case Management/Emergency Assistance Unit. The Case Management/Emergency Assistance unit assists eligible consumers with barriers to employment activity compliance and temporary housing, temporary rental assistance, eviction and utility shut-off preventions, etc.
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a human services area of study, BSW preferred. Bilingual a plus. Experience providing direct social services to consumers is preferred.
