The American Friends Service Committee seeks a Digital Content Intern to support the Communications Department. You will plan, create, and post digital content across AFSC platforms, including social media, web pages, emails, and sign-up forms.

The internship offers growth in content planning and digital fundraising within a collaborative team. This part-time, temporary role (8 months) requires 20 hours per week with a starting hourly rate of $20.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or related field required. Current enrollment in a college degree program preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in Canva, editing tools in social media and/or creating graphics for social media and other digital platforms.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Familiarity with best practices for writing for the web desirable.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Social Media Manager in monitoring, posting, and scheduling content to AFSC social media channels.
• Assist in drafting social media posts that align with AFSC’s issue areas and brand guide.
• Post content on AFSC.org and assist in updating and posting content as needed.
• Assist with CRM maintenance, creating reports, and producing emails and advocacy alerts.
